FOLK POWYS

The Folk Powys Workshops workshops were developed in partnership with Helen Wilding-Smith, Powys Music Co-ordinator as part of Powys County Council's Children and Young People's Music Strategy which was launched in 2010.

This followed work by TASC in creating a Llandinam Village Band (2007)and a ceilidh band project for Beulah (2009).

The Folk Powys 2012 tunebook with 16 tunes in it (pdf format).

LLANDOVERY/BEULAH WORKSHOPS
The Folk Powys sessions continued in Llandrindod Wells and Newbridge on Wye in 2011&12. This led to the formation of a community celidh band Di Enw which meets in the Llandovery/Beulah/Garth area . . . more.
